Nepal plane crash:  At least 68 killed in Nepal's worst airplane crash in 30 years

68 people have died in Yeti Airlines ATR-72 plane crash in Pokhara, Nepal. One day national mourning has been announced in Nepal regarding this accident. According to the information received, a total of 72 people including 4 crew members were on board the aircraft. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal says there were 53 Nepalese, 5 Indian, 4 Russian, 2 Korean, 1 Australian, 1 Argentine, 1 Irish and 1 French passenger on the flight.

Identification of these passengers
Some of the people killed in the plane crash have been identified and some are being ascertained. Those identified are Nishant Acharya, Sangeeta Shahi, Dr. Sushila Shrestha, Dr. Sona Diwakar, Riyan Poudel (10 months), Sadaqat Ali Miyan, Laxmi Poudel, Prashmi Poudel, Arun Poudel, Poornkumar Gurud, Korean national Yu Kyunghul And there is Sanjay Jaiswal. In a statement from the Nepal Army, it has been told that it will continue the search and rescue operation from tomorrow morning. Due to darkness, the search operation has been stopped till evening.

PM Modi has expressed grief over the Nepal plane crash by tweeting. He said, 'Anguished by the tragic air crash in Nepal in which precious lives including Indian citizens have been lost. In this hour of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families.
